with TouchApps"-- March 19th, 2012 - San Diego Art Institute
We have a special presentation on Monday, March 19th and it's free to attend. San Diego Photoshop User Group is proud to partner with Adobe
Systems as we showcase the exciting new Touch Apps for iPad and Android
tablets. Adobe has released a fabulous new set of six tablet apps to unleash
your creativity, using your finger or a stylus.
Our presenter will be Sally Cox, Adobe Certified Instructor and
Adobe Community Professional. Sally travels the globe teaching people about
Adobe software and she loves to share her excitement about the Touch
Tools! Sally's demo will focus on
Photoshop Touch, but she'll show the other apps, as well. We'll have extra
tablets on hand so you can try out the tools!

Presenter 1: Wacom Is Unveiling A Brand New Product by Stephen Burns (www.chromeallusion.com) We have a special presentation planned as Wacom will be unveiling their brand new product first here at the San Diego Photoshop User’s Group. To find out what it will be make sure that

Presenter 2: Nature’s
Elusive Beauty – Composition for Nature and Landscape Photography by Jennifer Wu (www.jenniferwu.com) 
This inspiring and entertaining presentation is a must see
for any one interested in nature and landscape photography. Jennifer will
teach you the elements of photographic composition and share her
techniques to get those great shots. She will discus five elements of
composition. Learn how she selects specific lenses for visual impact. Discover
how creating depth in an image creates interest to the image and how isolating
the subject will make a striking image. Jennifer
will take you on a visual journey through the natural world and cover tips for
nature photography.
The amazing Night Sky: Jennifer will share a some night sky
still photographs and timelapse photography. She will provide tips for
photographing the stars. This lecture is not to be missed! You can view her

About the Jennifer Wu:
Jennifer
Wu, a professional photographer since 1992, is a nature and landscape
photographer as well as photographing the night sky and stars.
Jennifer
was named by Canon USA to the elite group of photographers, The Explorers of
Light. Canon states, "The Explorers Of Light program is a group of
62 of the world's best photographers, united in their love and passion for
photographic excellence. They also share a common desire to contribute back to
the industry with a willingness to share their vision and passion with
others." Jennifer enjoys sharing her enthusiasm and passion for
nature photography in lectures and workshops for Canon. She is especially proud
that Canon publishes her spectacular sky photographs in their professional
camera brochures.
Her
images, featured in numerous magazines and books, have won a wide variety of
prestigious awards. Whenever she is not on nature expeditions at some of the
most beautiful locations in the world, she exhibits her images at galleries and
art shows.
Jennifer
was born in Illinois in 1968, grew up in Davis, California. She moved to
Sacramento to attend California State University, Sacramento where she
received a BA in Photography. She currently lives in Sacramento.
She
taught photography and digital imaging at Sierra College, CRC and
California State University Sacramento. She now enjoys leading workshops for
Light Photographic Workshops, the Sierra Club, Canon and aFilm International
Film Workshops Barcelona, Spain.

Bio: Peter Kinnan is a manager at OnOne software and has been
speaking all over the country to photographers, graphic designers and photoshop
users. For the past five years, he has been demonstrating to people how
to save time in the workflow by utilizing plugins inside of PhotoShop,
LightRoom, and Aperture to avoid time consuming processes and difficult tasks.
When he is not traveling and speaking, he can be found in the Rocky
Mountains with his snowboard looking for untracked mountainsides.
