President's Message |  | The attendance has sored to a current membership is fast approaching 3,000. The interest in sharing ideas continues to be dynamic and worthwhile. I would like to give A special thanks to our webmaster Erin Wishek who keeps the website functional and in order. Another special thanks to Elizabeth Erickson (Prsident of the Art Institute Of California - San Diego) for providing the meeting space for the San Diego Photoshop Users Group. I would like to thank all who have voluntered their time either through giving preseentations or organizing. Finally, don't foget to submit your work to the online gallery. Also, share your knowledge and expertise by submitting a tutorial.

Digital Art Proclamation
Joe Nalven and I were instrumental in getting a proclamation on the docket to make the last week of July "Digital Art Week". As of 2:25pm on Monday July 28th the City Counsel unanimously approved the motion. So what does that mean to us as digital artists? This means that at this time every year we will give community events like this one to share with the public. I hope that many of you will consider participating for this is only the first step. As we do this together every year and get better known it could mean better opportunities for those who participate. The bottom line is that it will become what we make of it. Thank you all again for your hard work and support. |
