Erik Brock is a local San Diego artist who came into his form of art late. Growing up as the son of an art major he was always told he was very artistic and had a talent. Never seeing it he argued that he had no talent. First discovering photography during his time in the Army and then later, much later, discovering the joys of Photoshop® he found his niche. With no formal training with the program just sitting in on a demo or two at the San Diego Fair Erik started to experiment and slowly create a style of his own. After Photoshop® he discovered the world of 3D modeling with Poser® and started to incorporate that into his work.

Erik has been influenced by every one from the classics; Monett, Degas, and Dali to the more modern works of the fantasy artist like Olivia and Boras Vallejo.
