During 2002, Peter Gorwin made a series of images using desktop printer negatives and alternative processes, inspired by a Dan Burkholder Workshop in Santa Fe. Peter's efforts have earned him two recent one-man shows.

Last October, some of his digital/alternative process landscapes hung in the North County Camera Gallery show "Dessert Suite." One of his digital collages, "Flower, Frame, and Fig Leaf," also seen in this gallery, earned a prize in the digital competition at the 2002 San Diego County Fair. He has
also won recent prizes at the Escondido Municipal Gallery. He says, "I most fear creating generic images. I hope that my images impart the passion for the subject that inspired me to make the photograph in the first place."
